If, 10 years ago, we
had a conversation where you told me that when 2020 rolled around
that a) I’d have a son who’s in treatment for leukemia, b) the
world would be in the midst of a pandemic from a virus that’s
related to SARS, and c) I’d be out on my front porch on an April
afternoon, sanitizing my groceries because of a), and b), I’d have
laughed and said that while you have a strange, vivid imagination, you’re
full of shit.
Well. Here we are.
It’s been almost
two months since I’ve written anything for this space. This COVID19
pandemic, and the lead up to it has caused me an immense amount of
stress. I’m keeping this entry short and sweet, but I’m going to
try to get back in the habit of writing more frequently.
